In a disgusting video that has gone viral on the internet, a staff of the Pet Clinic in Thane was seen beating a pet dog. The video ignited the fury of netizens and celebs alike. Actor Varun Dhawan, who is a vocal animal lover, reacted to the video and asked for more information and assured that the culprits in the video would be arrested. Hours later he also shared a video showing Mumbai police arrested the culprits.
The video shows the staff purposefully beating a dog of a Chow Chow breed. The man punched the dog’s face and boby while laughing at the camera until the dog backed out to save himself. Even before the dog managed to escape the man also kicked it while laughing in the video.
Many took to the comments section of the viral video, disturbed and angered, reporting the video to authorities. Many also slammed the pet clinic on Google reviews. Among the celebrities who reacted to the video were Varun Dhawan, who asked for the details of the place and reached out to Mumbai Police for help.

He later shared a video of the men being arrested and thanked Mumbai Police for their swift action. The video shows people gathered outside the clinic to demand action. It also shows the men being dragged out by the cops while people also beat the accused.
The thane pet clinic has shared a statement in lieu of the incident calling it ‘deeply disturbing’. The statement by Vetic spokesperson said, “This is a deeply disturbing incident involving a pet and 2 of our groomers. As pet parents and animal lovers, this is shocking and completely unacceptable to us.”
“As a first step, we have immediately terminated both of them and launched a formal investigation into this. We are also working alongside the authorities and have initiated police action in this matter. We understand the trust you place in us when you choose Vetic for your furry baby’s care, and we are committed to upholding that trust with the highest standards of compassion and professionalism,” it concluded.
