Kerala High Court stays circular on keeping ferocious dogs as pets

The Kerala High Court has stayed the implementation of a circular issued by the Union Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying banning the breeding and licensing of 23 ferocious dog breeds. The court, however, did not stay the prohibition on import and sale of the dogs contained in the circular dated March 12. A massive survey analyzing animal behavior during COVID-19 lockdowns has provided new insight into how humans can better co-exist with their wild counterparts. It also provided some great photos of bison, grizzlies, baby moose and other animals in their natural habitats. The study, published Monday in Nature Ecology and Evolutioninvolved 120 researchers worldwide and 5,000 camera traps that took pictures when triggered by the movement of wild animals. Warning for Corby residents and pet owners after lake contaminated by dumped oil
